Individually Regulated Dual-Output IPT System Based on Current-Mode Switching Cells

Based on the current-mode switching cell (CMSC), an inductive power transfer (IPT) system with dual-output is proposed in this letter. In IPT system, two CMSCs are inversely connected series at Rx side. Two operate positive half-cycle and negative of coil current, respectively. The dual output voltages can be regulated independently. circuit structure CMSC quite simple helps to make side more compact. control scheme based Rx-side real-time regulation thereby wireless communication links not required. Additionally, zero voltage ensured for all switches. order verify theoretical analysis, experimental prototype 20 V/3.3 A 5 V/3 outputs fabricated, maximum efficiency reach 92.8%.
